It’s been a slow week on the blog since I’ve done nothing productive or aesthetically pleasing. I have spent all my time selling stuff on ebay though - taking photos, writing descriptions, answering questions. Now my auctions are ending and I have to start wrapping stuff and queuing for hours at the post office. It all takes me forever! I don’t know how professional ebay sellers do it. If any of you are interested, here is my ebay link (all sizes are UK not US btw). I’m completely sick of everything I own so I’m going to put up lots more stuff in the coming week. I’m also selling some things for my mum (who I get my hoarding tendencies from).
For those that asked about the plates and prints - I’m going to sell them on my etsy shop in a week or so. I’m still organising a few things, ordering prints and faffing about with plates in the oven. Soon though!

I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who commented or blogged about the plates and daily drawings recently. You’ve all been so very nice!

Lots of beautiful photos from fittings and backstage at Rodarte. The dresses, the shoes! oh blimey.

Temporary tattoos by Julia Pott, available at her etsy shop. I want the unicorn. Julia also made this animation that must be seen by all asap.

Incredible vintage dresses at My Favorite Vintage on etsy.

Two ladies rocking pink from copenhagen street style & the sartorialist.

Amazing pictures from the Olympic opening ceremony in Beijing. I watched the whole thing on tv and it was brilliant, though I actually said that the footprints looked computer generated at the time!

I found mixed media and textiles designer Karen Nicol’s website via a post on stylebubble and love everything she does.

The most perfect lingerie by Stella McCartney at net-a-porter.

New season catalogue photos and videos at Sally Scott. I always look forward to these and they don’t disappoint.

Fun headbands from ban.do by stylist duo Jen and Jamie.

The latest issue of Lazy Soosan zine by illustrators Laura and Lucy is available at their shop.

I’ve been having fun painting plates and things. It’s really satisfying when it’s going well and extremely frustrating when your brush strokes go wobbly and you spend twice as much time wiping paint off than putting it on. The paint promises permanence and dishwasherability, so these could be used for eating and everything. I probably should test those claims first though! I’m going to be selling these and a variety of other ceramics, badges, prints, originals etc in my etsy shop in a couple of weeks. I’ll let you know closer to the time.
Now is the time for requests if there is anything specific you think I should sell!

This time the photos are from a completely normal bog-standard Russian supermarket, where actual real Russians shop, so no-one can accuse me of inaccurately portraying the lives of ordinary citizens or whatever.

The animal biscuits and condensed milk below were my absolute favourite things when I was little. Together, ideally!

“REMOVE FAT FROM STOMACH AND HIPS” is what the above poster offers!
p.s. thanks for all the comments about Matilda! I will pass on the compliments to the kitty in question.
